Main competences
Main application sectors
The thematic laboratories of the Department of Innovative Technologies (chemistry, plastic material processing, clean room, and many others), together with the external laboratories of strategic partners, constitute an integral part of the research unit's resources, enabling the development of a wide range of experimental activities and material characterization.
The laboratory, thanks to its extensive experience in flame retardancy for polymer materials, is also capable of evaluating the flammability and combustion behaviour of polymer materials, semi-finished products, and photovoltaic panels integrated into walls (BIPV).
