Buddy Program - Exchange
The main objective of the project is to assist exchange students with practical information on living and studying in Ticino, as well as to facilitate their integration into SUPSI academic life and the local student community.
‘Buddy’ students are SUPSI students who volunteer to assist mobility colleagues before and during their stay in Ticino through regular contact.
In particular, they can:

- Welcoming and supporting international students.
- Facilitating the inclusion of students within the class by stimulating mutual integration.
- Offering students the opportunity to actively participate in social life in their new cultural surroundings.
The reasons are varied:
- Meeting people from all over the world
- Improving a foreign language
- Discovering new cultures
- Making new friends
- Giving support to students
